Daysy: How did you meet?

Marisa: We met at Carmax in White Marsh. I had purchased my car from that dealership and when I was dropping off my car because air kept on coming out of a tire, my eyes just met with his and we smiled at one another. It was like time took a pause for moment. He wasn’t even supposed to be working in that area, but he took care of my car and we both just conversated for a bit. He didn’t even get my number, but I definitely liked the guy and he seemed to like me. Eventually he had got my number from the salesperson and that’s where it all started from there 🙂 We went on our first date, and to this day now, I’m finally marrying the love of my life.

Daysy: Where did you go for your 1st date?

Marisa and Ferdi: TGI Fridays in White Marsh.

Daysy: How did he propose? Can you describe that moment?

Marisa: Ferdinand proposed around the new years, 2 years ago in 2015. I had lost the promise ring that he had given me and I had been wearing every since we’d been together. I was so distraught, I just kept crying for days. Surprisingly, one afternoon while I was lying in bed, Ferdi leaned in,  “I found your ring.” And I saw this band, silver like my promise ring, and I was like wait a minute, and he twirled it around, to my surprise, I saw this huge bright LEO diamond ring!

Ferdi then said “Marisa I have problems offering you the world right now. I don’t really have much to offer you, but still will you marry me?”  I quickly said YES! YES!!! And this time, still cried but happily. Fortunately, a few days later, I did find that promise ring.

Daysy: Are you planning to honeymoon? If yes, where do you have plans to go to?

Marisa: Yes, in August, we’re going to the Philippines after we get married.

Daysy: How do you imagine yourselves as a couple from now to 5 years?

Marisa: Happy parents with a house and better job.

Daysy: Do you have any pets? If yes what is it’s name and how do you share the duties?

Marisa: Yes, we have two leopard geckos, Pepper and Coco. We both take turns feeding them and making sure we give them water, although we both try to remind the other of whether they’d eaten if it’s been a while.

Daysy: Describe something that you absolutely love about your fiance?

Marisa: Ferdi loves the way I love him. And I absolutely love the way my fiance, Ferdi loves me 🙂

Daysy: What are your expectations for your wedding day?

Marisa: My expectations for my wedding day is that it be like the moment I first met him. Also, it is a celebration and acknowledgement of our unity in front of our family and friends; to let everyone know how much we love each other.

Daysy: Describe your relationship in two words:

Marisa: Fun love

Daysy: Any funny stories to share about your fiance? (be nice) 🙂

Marisa: The one funny story that I actually can say is the funniest through the nine years we’ve been together was during this one day we were shopping at Costco, Arundel Mills. Ferdi had said, “Look! (And pointed) Look at the beautiful flowers they’re selling.” I started walking towards this plant with a huge flower saying, “Oh wow! It’s so beautiful.” He reminds me that I went in to look at it and even try to sniff it. However, the moment I get 1 inch away and leaned in, I realize IT’S FAKE! It was a really real looking, fake laminated shape of hibiscus flower supported by a stick. I turned and was like FERDI!! LOL I turned to hit him. I swear this was the worst he had gotten me, I had looked around to see if anyone saw, I swear when they see it on camera or whoever saw, would certainly had gotten a laugh! Ferdi was looking behind and already trying to hold back his laugh. He says I tried doing the “touch and sniff” lol.

Marisa and Ferdinand, I am counting the days for your wedding in July!! 🙂
