Aubrie and Jeremy set spring into action by celebrating their beautiful wedding at The Lodge at Little Seneca Creek in Boyds, Md. A gorgeous sunny day welcomed friends and family to gather at the beautiful log cabin where they shared what their love means with everyone they love. With their rustic theme and natural colors, you are sure to be swept away in their romance. Aubrie and Jeremy, congratulations, you were such an amazing couple to photograph! Thanks for letting me be part of one your most special days.

Daysy: What are your top 3 tips for future brides?
Aubrie and Jeremy : Create a timeline that you communicate with all of your vendors and share with wedding party, I didn’t stress one bit on my wedding day, I did everything I could up until the week before and after that, what happened, would happen!
Things will fall into place as long as you plan! Communicate constantly with your vendors, throw ideas out there, talk through things, you will be surprised what you can come up with and which vendors you will work with again!
Daysy : Where did you have your wedding? Why did you choose the location?
Aubrie and Jeremy : At The Lodge at Little Seneca Creek. We were looking for a rustic venue that was in our budget. We wanted indoor/outdoor options and flexibility. The lodge was the absolute perfection location. We didn’t need to decorate a lot because the lodge itself is gorgeous.
Daysy : Describe any personal or special touches that helped make Your Wedding Memorable:
Aubrie and Jeremy : We made special champagne glasses for the wedding party, most of the milk glass that we used for centerpieces were borrowed from family and friends, the crochet pieces that were used for centerpieces were made by my grandmother, our wedding sign was made by my sister, not to mention the decoration for the cake was made by a friend. So many more things were hand crafted just for us!
Daysy: What was the best thing about the day?
Aubrie and Jermey : Getting Married! It was an amazing day, it was fun, easy, and so enjoyable. We were so blessed to have family and friends there to enjoy this day with us.
Daysy: Tell us about your wedding day fashions.
Aubrie and Jeremy: The brides dress and bridesmaids dresses were from Davids Bridal. There were three different style dresses. The flower girls dress we found at a consignment shop, and was perfect! The groom’s suit was from Joseph A. Banks and the grooms suits were ordered from The Black Tux! It was so convenient having their suits from The Black Tux since we all live in different states. The bowties were ordered from the Tiebar and were given as part of the groomsmen gifts.
Daysy: What was your color palette and wedding style? What inspired it? Tell us about the flowers, stationery and decor you chose.
Aubrie and Jeremy : The color palette was greens, white, and neutral colors. The bridesmaids dresses were cameo, biscotti, and portabello. The groomsmen wore navy suits with light green bow ties. Our wedding style was rustic, yet natural (bring the outdoors in). Using lots of greens, we wanted it to be simple with a rustic feel. The flowers we got from a florist in a town where I grew up in western New York. Way To Grow, does an amazing job and we have known her for a long time. The stationary was from Vista Print, it turned out great. It is a less expensive option, but fit perfect into our rustic, simple, natural feel! The decor was put together by my mom and cousin. They worked hard making garlin and using flowers and greenery purchased from Michael’s.
Daysy : Tell us about your cocktail hour and reception! What was on the menu? Did you have any special entertainment?
Aubrie and Jermey: We had a DJ who did the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Tony did such an amazing job and played everything from our want list. The food was U-N-B-E-L-E-I-V-A-B-L-E. Stone Soup Catering, hands down serves up delicious food. We had meatballs, veggies, chicken, sweet potato, salad, bbq chicken, and to end it, a cookie bar made up of Italian cookies.
Daysy : Which element(s) of your day best reflected you as a couple? What did you do to make guests feel special?
Aubrie and Jeremy : The simplicity of it. It was simple, yet so much hard work went into it. As a couple, we are simple but work hard, travel to see family a lot, and love being outside. We think our guests just loved being there, sharing this day with us. We had about 90 guests and they all had to travel at least 4 hours to be there!
Daysy: What went wrong?
Aubrie and Jeremy : Absolutely nothing. If something did, everyone hid it from us!
